Yiwen Yike Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-07 · Effective 2026-10-07
1. The service: Yiwen Yike (the "Yiwen Yike" app and the Yiwen Yike Studio web version, together "Yiwen Yike") uses artificial intelligence to create outlines, scripts, voice-overs and hand-drawn animated videos from the text or spoken requests you give it.
2. Your account: You must sign up with a real phone number or email address that you can use, and you are responsible for everything done under your account. One person, one account: bulk sign-ups and transferring, selling or renting accounts are not allowed.
3. Your content and responsibility: You are responsible for the requests you enter, the outlines you upload and the videos you publish. Videos are made by AI and may contain factual errors; check them before publishing, and keep the "AI generated" label in the video — do not remove or cover it.
4. What you may not do: break the law; infringe other people's rights (likeness, reputation, privacy, copyright); create sexual or violent content, false advertising, or impersonate others. If we find content that breaks these rules, we may refuse to make it, remove it, and restrict or close the account.
5. Credits and payment: Credits can only be used for this service and cannot be cashed out or transferred. Credits are only charged when a video is finished; if a job fails or is stopped part-way, the credits held for it are returned automatically. Credits included in a plan are valid for that billing period; top-up packs are valid for 12 months from purchase.
6. Refunds and billing disputes: Top-up packs are refunded in proportion to unused credits. Plans are refunded after deducting the larger of the share of time used and the share of credits used, and the plan's benefits end with the refund. If a video comes out up to 20% longer than the estimate given before it starts, you pay the estimate; if it would be longer than that, we pause before finishing and ask you to confirm the new number of credits — nothing extra is charged without your confirmation. If a video is spoiled by a technical problem (garbled pictures, missing voice-over), report it within 7 days and, once checked, we return the credits. Monthly credits are valid for the current month and do not roll over. We do not currently offer auto-renewal. Invoices and support: use "Contact us" on the account page or email support@yiwenyike.com; we reply within 1 business day.
Paying through Paddle: when you pay on our website with "Card / Apple Pay / Google Pay", the order is processed by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for these orders: it takes the payment, handles the tax and issues the receipt, and your card statement shows PADDLE.NET. Refunds follow this section, and you can also reach Paddle through paddle.net. Any right of withdrawal that the law where you live gives consumers (such as the 14-day right in the EU and the UK) is not affected.
7. Intellectual property: As long as you follow these terms and the music licence (keep the CC BY 4.0 credit at the end of each video), you may use your videos for personal or commercial purposes.
8. Changes and interruptions: We do our best to keep the service running. If it is interrupted for maintenance or by events beyond our control, jobs in progress continue from where they stopped once the service is back, and any credits held are returned.
9. Minors: Users under 18 should use the service with a parent or guardian's consent and supervision. Kid mode is switched on and managed from a parent's account.
10. Changes to these terms: When these terms change, we will ask you to accept them again when you sign in.
11. Contact us: If you have any questions about these terms, email support@yiwenyike.com.
